Now, I can certainly say that I definitely relate to Raven and her feelings in regards to guys and their reactions toward Snow White's beauty. She is a little consumed by jealousy by the way males are around Snow White (although does not want to admit it) and yet, she loves her best friend/sister very dearly. I teared up a few times whenever Raven thought about her feelings and how she didn't think she could measure up to Snow White in her looks. I really liked how, despite her jealousy, she did not let that get in the way of her's and Snow White's relationship. She even wanted to help Snow White find a suitable husband! I especially liked Corlan and the other guy (can't remember his name at the moment).
I love the story and, again, the characters are so great! The mother both creeped me out and angered me--I won't give away anything though, for spoilers' sake! The romance is oh-so wonderful and sent butterflies in my stomach (as all of Jenni James' works have done). I did not want the story to end and I just loved it to the very last page!

Snow White Faerie Tale Collection Book 7 eBook Jenni James Reviews

Not what I was expecting for a retelling of Snow White, a very enjoyable read and fun new take on an old story.
I love anything that Jenni James creates. If you want clean sweet romance with a twist, you will enjoy this.
It easy to read through but fun enough to not want to put it down. I feel like a nice person after reading these
instead of wanting to delete it from my book history. Thanks to the author for going against the tide of those
who try to make teens and young adults do and say things that are not flattering or uplifting. Jenni is my new
favorite (even after reading almost all of her books).
While this was a unique retelling, both close to the original and distinct enough to be memorable, I had to force my way through it at times. The multiple POVs and the too-perfect characters made it difficult for me to truly get invested. Still, it is a well written, creative retelling of Snow White.
This is a different version of a classic fairy tale. I like it, it just took a bit to get used to it. It's not dark or totally scary but has heart and true loved always prevails.
This book captured me within the first couple of pages because of Raven. Learning about how she was overlooked all the time, literally moved me to tears. I think we all know of some one who can relate with Raven and someone who can relate with Snow. Maybe they are us. So I really enjoyed the beginning.
I didn't really like Terrance. I don't think he fits with Raven. I thought it would be better if they faced some or adversity when they were falling in love. It all felt too rushed, but I did like how Raven always claimed to detests him and such, because a girl who has been overlooked her whole life would do exactly that.
This book has some interesting twist that I highly enjoy, and they are woven into the plot greatly. The ending makes me so glad, and have hope for humanity. It is just so sweet how King Herbert loves his wife.
This is a really easy quick read. It's clean and just a great book!! I didn't give it five stars because toward the middle, I just kind of lost interest but I finished it and the ending made me interested again. I think the pace of this book went way too hurriedly. I did enjoy it for what it's worth though.
I bought this book for a middle school girl. She was at first doubtful because it didn't look that great. But then she read and loved it. She has read some of Jenni James's other books and thinks that this one is nothing short of amazing. In this fairytale, Snow White, her friend Raven (who has just become her stepsister), her friend's older brother who has been in love with Snow for years, and the the Prince who came to meet Snow but feel in love with Raven all have to save Raven's mother (Snow's new stepmother) from an evil mirror that was given to her as a wedding gift. It's is turning her against Snow, making her believe that Snow is trying to overthrow her. Great characters, funny dialogue, and a brilliant plot. This story is great.
I loved this book! What if the evil queen didn't start out that way? What if the mirror was the destroyer of hearts and lives? What if a little envy caused you to turn on your family? What if the huntsman was actually the prince who loved Snow under a terrible spell? What if the seven dwarves were in fact magical faries? (I giggled, this was my favorite twist) I had fun falling in love with not one, but three couples (because I really do have to love Snow White's father for how he loves and saves his queen) Snow White believes she's under a spell, that everyone HAS to love her. Will someone ever love her for who she is and how would she know it wasn't the spell anyway? Corlan, who has loved her for ever, tries to find a way to tell her, and prove it. Raven, always passed over in favor of Snow, despite being beautiful and wonderful herself. Until she meets Terrance...
I love cute romance, especially CLEAN romance that I can read to my little girls. Thank you Jenni, for another entertaining retelling.
